The story in three sentences

Digital money today either works offline or protects your privacy — no deployed system does both without special security hardware. Qashmore, built on the Pactena Protocol, does both on an ordinary phone: the payment is anonymous to the merchant, it works in a blackout, and anyone who tries to spend the same money twice is identified with mathematical certainty. The key-management foundation beneath it has been running in production for years inside two regulated institutions — licensed and supervised by Lietuvos bankas and Latvijas Banka — and was reviewed by a university cryptography research group in 2021, informally.

More shorter

Offline digital cash from Hungary — the layer missing from any digital money (e.g. the digital euro) debate.

For anyone who has watched a card network go dark, a border stall a payment, or a blackout stop the tills, this is the layer that keeps money moving — in Lagos, Riyadh, São Paulo or Jakarta just as in Europe.

Quotable statements

Fraud reveals itself. And nobody has to be watched for that to happen.
The key is never assembled. It is not that it is well guarded — it is that it never existed as a whole.
The euro-to-digital-euro transition becomes a currency swap, not a system swap — and the same holds for any currency it carries.
Anonymous to the merchant, known only to your bank — the money's path stays auditable, but no one gets a window onto what you buy.
A payment system that only works when everything else works is not a payment system.

What we stand behind

Every claim here is backed by something you can check: a key-management foundation running in production inside two regulated institutions, licensed and supervised by Lietuvos bankas and Latvijas Banka; a university review in 2021, informal; and a fully specified protocol with a reference implementation and a working demonstrator. External cryptographic review of the payment layer is under way; the outcome will be published. The claims here are capabilities; commercial detail belongs at the table, not in the headline.
